Probably would have to be the word: LULA meaning pipe cuz I can't pronounce it. It has the deadly Bulgarian L sound - luh. Same goes for the football player Lua Lua. In Bulgarian his name almost sounds Wah Wah - it's the Bulgarian L.

Харесва. Харесва ми думата - is this a correct sentence? But I do like that word, it doesn't exist in some other Slavic languages I know. Smile

My favorite Bulgarian word is probably патица (duck, fem.), mostly because it's really the only word I know besides my BF's name. That, and there's a pretty funny story about how I learned it... Smile

Zapozniam is my favourite word because it took me so long to learn how to say it. I kept going round trying to say it until everyone was sick of listening to me.

I like брат. It sounds like "brat" and it means "brother". Coincidence?....I think not!
